·         Panthers Defeats Marion County In High-Scoring Affair

·         Panthers bested Marion County in a high-scoring affair, 9-6.

·         Panthers fired up the offense in the first inning, when Hayden Henry induced John Samuel Waggoner to hit into a fielder's choice, but two runs scored.

·         Marion County scored three runs in the fifth inning. Robbie DykesBrayston Hendon, and Brice Barton each drove in runs during the inning.

·         Waggoner led the Panthers to victory on the pitcher's mound. He lasted four and two-thirds innings, allowing three hits and six runs while striking out three. Braden Penny threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen. Penny recorded the last six outs to earn the save for Panthers.

·         Henry took the loss for Marion County. He allowed five hits and seven runs over two-thirds of an inning.

·         Panthers tallied 11 hits in the game. Tyler LaymanHunter Storey, and Penny all managed multiple hits for PanthersPennyStorey, and Layman each collected two hits to lead Panthers.

·         Jace Barton led Marion County with two hits in four at bats.
